Pro Pacific Restoration DKI specializes in disaster restoration services. When our clients experience a fire, flood or other disaster, natural or man-made, we respond 24/7/365 to help them recover and get things back to normal.

Currently experiencing significant growth, we have an immediate opening for a Restoration Carpenter/ Handyperson based out of our Victoria Branch.

What You will Do:

As a Property Restoration Technician, you will be responsible for completing a variety of tasks within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Carpentry & Cabinetry: Build, repair, and install structural and aesthetic components.
  • Drywall: Install, tape, and finish drywall to ensure a smooth and seamless appearance.
  • Insulation: Install insulation to meet safety and efficiency standards.
  • Painting: Apply paints, finishes, and coatings with precision and attention to detail.
  • Light Electrical & Plumbing: Perform minor electrical and plumbing repairs as needed.
  • Fencing & Decks: Build, repair, and maintain fences and decks, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic quality.
  • Safety First: Always prioritize safety in all tasks, ensuring both personal and team safety standards are adhered to.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer experiences, always striving for satisfaction.
  • Teamwork: Work effectively as part of a team while also being capable of working independently.
  • Clean Work Environment: Maintain a “clean as you go” mentality, ensuring the work area remains organized and safe.

What You Bring:

To succeed in this role, you will bring a blend of experience, knowledge, and skills, including:

  • Restoration/Handyperson Experience: Proven ability to perform a wide range of repair and restoration tasks.
  • Technical Knowledge: Ability to interpret construction drawings and follow detailed scope of work, policies, and procedures.
  • Material and Tool Knowledge: A solid understanding of materials, methods, and tools involved in construction and maintenance.
  • Tool Proficiency: Ability to use and maintain relevant tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Problem Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly identify and address issues.
  • Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills to interact professionally with clients and ensure a positive experience.
  • Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License: A clean driving record with the ability to operate company vehicles as needed.
  • Background Check: A clean criminal record related to the scope of work is required.
