Case Study Residential Home Flood
Here’s a quick story about one family we’ve helped that all began with a panicked phone call from a local professional who accidentally started a flood in her own home.
It was Sunday morning – chore day. Mom was upstairs in one of the kid’s rooms gathering up laundry, and uncovered a wicked grass stain on the knee of her son’s pants. It was a deep stain, so the grassy-kneed pants landed in the upstairs bathroom sink for a good soaking.
The pants – and the running water – were both soon forgotten as life took the family off on an adventure to pick-up friends, go to the park, and generally just run errands for something like 4 or 6 hours.
Upon returning home Mom opened the front door and was not-so-warmly greeted with a waterfall flowing down the carpeted stairs.
Further inspection also found a wading pool in the living room and the kitchen, and most unfortunately, a flood in Mom’s work-from-home office. After a quick dash up the stairs to turn off the sink, followed by handing the kids buckets to bail with, we got a frantic phone call.
Soon after the flood remediation experts at DKI-Pro Pacific promptly arrived on the scene, extracted every drop of water, dried out the furniture, and restored the damage. We brought their home back to a pre-flood state before mold became a concern.
As a professional, a Mom, and a homeowner, our client didn't have to worry about permanent damage or health-concerning mold, all because DKI-Pro Pacific was referred to her by a friend to get the job done.
